Christina Adams
Christina Adams is a Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA) with extensive experience in web development and user experience design. Christina has helped numerous organizations optimize their digital products and processes by combining technical expertise with user-centered design to ensure accessible and innovative solutions empower diverse audiences.
Rob Carr
Rob Carr is the Strategic Accessibility Coordinator at WebAIM, which is part of the Institute for Disability Research, Policy, and Practice at Utah State University. Rob has been in the digital accessibility space since 2010. He has spent loads of time training, consulting, and learning about digital accessibility topics, large and small. Rob has worked with thousands of individuals and dozens of organizations on everything from accessibility in a single PDF to integrating accessibility into organizations’ digital strategies.
At WebAIM, Rob works primarily to help organizations approach web and digital accessibility as a strategic effort at the project, program, and organizational levels.
Chad Chelius
Chad Chelius is a trainer, author, consultant, speaker, and Accessibility Wizard at Chax Training and Consulting. He lives in the Philadelphia area and has been using Adobe products for over 25 years. He is an Adobe Certified Instructor and Accessible Document Specialist. He teaches people around the world how to use Adobe and Microsoft products to solve their accessibility challenges. He uses many Adobe products, but he specializes in PDF accessibility using InDesign, Word, and Acrobat. Chad is a LinkedIn Learning author, and you can connect with him on LinkedIn.
Lucy Greco
Lucy Greco is an accessibility evangelist at the University of California, Berkeley. She has been blind since birth and has always loved to play around with technology. She uses this natural curiosity to improve technology for people with diverse disabilities. Lucy has helped improve the accessibility of many websites, mobile apps, appliances, and kiosks. She uses her love of video gaming and her accessibility knowledge to help teach video game companies how to make their games more accessible. Lucy regularly speaks at events around the world and loves teaching people about accessibility.
Devon Persing
Devon Persing has been working as a digital accessibility specialist since 2012. Prior, she was a digital services librarian and user interface specialist in research libraries, non-profits, and higher education. She currently works as an independent accessibility consultant out of Seattle, WA, with a focus on accessibility education and operations. She is the author of The Accessibility Operations Guidebook.
Judith Risch
Judith Risch, J.D., Ph.D., is well-known across the country as an expert in digital accessibility. She has over 20 years of experience working at the U.S. Department of Education (USDE) Office for Civil Rights (OCR). While at OCR, she helped lead their National Digital Accessibility Team and helped create the new ADA Title II digital accessibility rule.
Glenda Sims
Glenda Sims (AKA the Goodwitch of a11y) is the Chief Information Accessibility Officer at Deque, where she shares her expertise and passion for the open web with .gov, .edu, .org, and .com. She co-founded axe-con, the world’s largest digital accessibility conference and served as lead judge for AIR (Accessibility Internet Rally). She spent 10+ years as a senior developer at University of Texas with her mentor/hero, Dr. John Slatin. She co-authored “A11Y Wars: The Accessibility Interpretation Problem” with Wilco Fiers. She is on the IAAP Global Leadership Council and the Accessibility Guidelines Working Group at the W3C.
Jay Wyant
Jay Wyant is Minnesota’s first Chief Information Accessibility Officer or CIAO! He leads the Office of Accessibility at the State of Minnesota. The Office of Accessibility works with Minnesota state agencies to embed accessibility into the State’s culture. We collaborate with agency and MNIT partner Digital Accessibility Coordinators to empower agencies with effective and sustainable policies, processes, tools, and procedures that ensure digital government operations and services are accessible and usable for all.
The public can use many of the Office’s resources, including free training, information materials, and a monthly newsletter.
